Black Ridge Angus Farm
First Edition is the $45,000 US top selling bull in the 2003 Spring Hoff Scotch Cap sale. The perfect balance of unusual soundness, growth and muscle in a light birth weight package. He is out of a herd known for high growth, big volume and fast growing cattle. First Edition was the high selling bull at the Hoff sale in 2003 and one of the highest selling bulls of the breed that year. His dam was the top selling female in the Hoff Dispersal with a nursing ratio of 112 for two calves and is a shared donor with Beaver Ridge. Limited Edition is a big, 7 frame bull with exceptional length, muscle, structural integrity and soundness. He is proving his growth projections with over 500 calves ratioing 102 for weaning and 250 calves ratioing103 for yearling weights. First Edition calves are easy to show and easy to sell. Semex
First Edition was the high seller
in our 2003 sale, at $45,000 for
two-thirds interest, and is considered
by many to be the most powerful
bull sold in 2003. His donor dam was the high selling 2-year-old in
our 2002 cow sale and is owned with Beaver Ridge. His grandam was
one of our best producers ever. This bull is unusually thick, deep and
stout. So, if you’re serious about beef production and want cattle that
are structurally sound with more thickness, growth and muscle, you
owe it to the future of your cowherd to use this great new sire. Owned
with First Edition Associates. Scotch Cap Angus 2006 Semen Catalogue
